What’s in Store for the Future of ISOs

As Payment Technology evolves, Independent Sales Organizations are forced to reevaluate their roles in the industry. They can either decide to better serve merchants and acquiring banks or become specialists in a niche field.

According to ISO & Agent, ISOs should “Choose an area of payments or security in which you excel, but understand how to balance that expertise with other offerings that generate revenue.” ISOs are too caught up in being good at everything instead of focusing on what they do best.

If ISOs can get on board and accept change to add value to their clients, they will be in a good position when key players come for help with distribution.
