We call Allen, Texas home, so it’s no surprise here when Texas claims five of the top ten spots for jobs announced by Forbes. Dallas comes in proudly at number one, boasting 2.1% job growth over the last year.
With its success explained by a “diversified economy”, the Texas job market shows no signs of slowing down. It’s expected to continue growing like this (or even better), through 2019. And the jobs aren’t only minimum wage: Dallas is booming in opportunities with wages above $16 an hour, likely due to the high number of professional and financial companies headquartered here.
