MasterCard Testing Facial Recognition for Purchases

MasterCard is in the process of testing new technology involving selfies that could change the game of payments. During the trial phase, 500 consumers will be able to authorize transactions by facial recognition. This is just one of the ways in which MasterCard plans to cut down fraud.

Because selfies have become the norm for the younger generation in recent years, this new trend in payments might gain some serious momentum.
