Home Depot, the latest big brand attacked by breach at payment terminals, had roughly 56 million card numbers exposed. While the attack didn’t impact business directly, Forbes has investigated closely the costs of breach for the retailer.
Estimated at about $194 per compromised record, Forbes estimates Home Depot will lost $10 billion due to the breach by the end of the decade. Yikes.
