FinDEVr Presentation Recap

Didn’t get a chance to make it out to gorgeous San Francisco? It’s alright. We’ve got a recap of Forte’s involvement at FinDEVr 2014.

FinDEVr 2014 was the first event of its kind, gathering together some of the biggest and brightest names in the fintech industry. Forte was proud to be selected to participate in the conference in two ways: 1) Forte CEO Jeff Thorness gave a showcase presentation, titled “Professional Payments Made Easy: Developer to Developer,” and 2) Forte developer Li Zhou and Jeff Thorness led a hands-on companion workshop, “Forte Payment APIs – Deep Dive.” To read the official announcement, stop here for the press release.

The showcase presentation introduced the developer community to Forte, describing its humble roots as a developer founded and bootstrapped company behind many successful payment offerings since 1998. Forte now serves over 27,000 merchants and processes over $16 billion per year. Examples of the types of partnerships and features of our no-cost Integrated Partner Program were also highlighted.

Integration methods were introduced during the presentation and explored in detail during the companion workshop. REST-based APIs, Forte.js tokenization, Forte Checkout, Legacy APIs and Batch, and SDKs were all part of the “deep dive” led by Li Zhou and Jeff Thorness.

In addition, a special FinDEVr promotion, Forte Kickstart, was announced at the conference. FinDEVr attendees that sign up with Forte can process their first 100K without any fees of any kind.
